Chevrotin, quésako? It's the kindness of the people of Chevrières and a farm cheese made with raw goat's milk. That's just as well, there are plenty of cheeses in this forézienne shop: those of Monsieur Dumon in Chazelles-sur-Lyon and the Gaec at the sources of the coise in Larajasse, and the 2 chapels in La Chapelle-sur-Coise. The terroir is in the spotlight. You can also buy meat (pork from the Carteron farmhouse delicatessen, rooster chickens from Saint-Héand), eggs from Frédéric Faucon in Saint-Romain-en-Jarez or seasonal vegetables and fruit from Valfeury and Saint-Didier-sur-Riverie. In short, the best of the region combined in one grocery store!
