TRAIN DE LA LOIRE
A train running 3.5 km along the right bank of Lake Villerest with animations and the route will be commented.
The Belvedere train runs for 3.5 km along the right bank of Lake Villerest. Starting from the Commelle lookout above the dam, it makes a U-turn at Magneux and returns along the same route. The round trip takes about 1 hour 15 minutes with a 15 minute break at the Magneux lookout. The carriages are not accessible to wheelchairs, but the site staff are on hand to help people get onto the train. In addition to the animations, the journey is commented on the history of the dam, the lake and the sights to be discovered in the vicinity. At the Commelle lookout, a giant vertical sundial (2 m in diameter) with two faces awaits you. After your train ride, stop at the Belvedere snack bar, located right next to the train station, where you will find cold drinks and food. If you wish to celebrate your child's birthday, a snack can also be arranged by the snack team. You should also know that throughout the season, many activities are offered to children: the Easter train, the train against the attack, the train circus, the train zinzin ... plenty of time to have fun with friends! It is also possible to book the train for groups of 10 to 80 people. To do this, contact the Loire train company to see what can be organised.
