At 2 km from Condat, the hamlet of Height flows around the ruins of an ancient abbey founded by Cistercian monks in the th century, then deserted and destroyed during the Revolution. There are still large sections of the wall that let imagine the importance of the building. At the foot of this one is a small chapel which houses a Virgin to the polychrome children of the th century. The chapel is decorated with lilies and stars painted on the wall and ceiling. A site to discover for lovers of old evocative stones.
