COURSE DE LA CHATAIGNE
Every year, for more than 20 years, the chestnut race has been organised in La Tour-en-Jarez in October. The routes are 7.5 or 12 km long. Thus, participants can evolve in the countryside mainly on dirt roads or possibly on a small asphalt road in a very pleasant setting on the outskirts of Saint-Étienne. The first three finishers in each category win a cup, otherwise a symbolic prize is given to all. Because, as they say, the most important thing is to participate! The race takes place in a family and friendly atmosphere, with respect for the riders. A pleasant moment to share with family or friends.
