AUBERGE LA JASSERIE
In the heart of the Pilat Regional Nature Park, located in an old barn built by the Carthusian monks of Sainte-Croix, the Auberge de la Jasserie features a curious bell tower that the monks used to ring to guide potential travellers lost in the fog. Jean-Jacques Rousseau stayed there to herbify. Today, it is an institution in the region. The inn, located in the huge building of the old farmhouse, far from any habitation within a radius, is a real mountain lodge. The hostel's terrace offers a very pleasant break for hikers. And in winter, it is the perfect refuge, after a walk in the middle of the snowfields.
