Very young already Pierre Gaillard was passionate about the vine! In 1981, he bought his first lands in Saint-Joseph and then continued without delay with the construction of the vineyard in côte-rotie, condrieu, côtes-du-rhône and vin de pays. The proud estate of Malleval has an area of 20 hectares on the oldest appellations of the Côtes-du-Rhône. In 2002, his brilliant idea was to buy a vineyard in Banyuls whose cellar produces a whole range of wines (vintage banyuls, classic banyuls, out-of-age banyuls, white collioure, red and rosé collioure) to best represent the immense potential of this terroir. Pierre Gaillard has always considered winemaking as the way to express the best of his terroirs and he still succeeds very well. This true enthusiast even transmitted the virus to his three children, Jeanne, Pierre-Antoine and Elise, all involved. A local grape variety wine, crozes-hermitage, and a famous Saint-Joseph which she simply called La Relève!
