AGNES COUPEY
Agnès Coupey is a ceramic artist based in Montchal. She has had her own studio since 1982, where she creates decorative objects such as dishes, boxes and wall panels, as well as furniture. Agnès trained in various workshops in France, England and Denmark. She has also exhibited her work in numerous galleries in France, including Aigues-Mortes, Saint-Quentin-La-Poterie, Aix-en-Provence, Clermont-Ferrand, Lyon and Paris. Her creations have also been shown at group exhibitions in Cluny, Morestel, Lyon, Tarare, Villerest, Vaux en Beaujolais, Manthes, Lausanne and Chantemerle-lès-Grignan, among others. Agnès has also created works for architectural projects such as the entrance hall of a college in Panissières and the dining room of a retirement home in Uzès. She has also won several awards for her work, including the prize for originality for the garden environment at the Journée des plantes d'Albertas in 2016.
