THE MILL OF DRILS
The Mill of Drils, whose interior has a clerestory device, allows to observe the wooden mechanism.
Restored by a handful of enthusiasts, a carpentry teacher and his students, the Drils mill (17th century) has come back to life for the pleasure of all. The storm of 1999 had almost destroyed the small building. Inside, the completely reconstructed wooden mechanism can be seen through a slatted window. The century-old millstones are driven as they were in the past! A few steps away, the small waterfall and the hamlet of Drils deserve your attention before taking the road back to Le Puy Mary. Visits await you every Monday in the summer.
