Visit to the viaducts at Pélussin, which were intended to enable the railroad to reach the town of Maclas.
They have been part of the landscape since the first part of the 20th century. Built during the inter-war period, the viaducts of Pélussin - the viaduct known as "de Charavine" with its 8 arches and the viaduct of Pélussin with its central arch of 55 m opening - were to allow the railway to reach the town of Maclas. Inaugurated in 1920, they will only function a few decades before the famous "galoche", a local jalopy, stops operating. Today, pedestrians from several hamlets use it as a shortcut to reach Pélussin.
