The joëlette is a single-wheel off-road wheelchair that allows access to hiking for people with reduced mobility or in a situation of disability, children and adults alike. It is operated by two people, one at the rear for stability and the other at the front for traction. He can access steep, sloping, grassy terrain... in short, hiking trails, without restrictions. The joëlette can be used for family walks or sporting events. The company Ferriol-Matrat, initiator and manufacturer of the joëlette, has also developed an electric model, with the same characteristics, but with the addition of an aid to help them during steep slopes for example. More than a manufacturer's site, "Joëlette and Co" offers a "community" space, a directory of clubs and places to practice, a calendar of events including joëlettes and a blog with stories of travel in joëlette.
