The terrace on this beautiful square in the heart of Saint-Chamond is a first destination that you should know how to enjoy as soon as the sun comes out. But once you enter the Comptoir, it is in Marrakech that you land in an authentic Moroccan riad version of the most beautiful setting. Walls painted in tadelakt, traditional objects, splendid crockery, every detail puts us in the atmosphere of Marrakech, without forgetting the good mood of Mohammed Zerguine, the boss. The chef in the kitchen also plays the card of tradition and authenticity. Cuisine made with fresh quality products cooked homemade to compose tasty dishes as we thought we could only eat from the other side of the Mediterranean. Among the specialities, the variations around the tagines are as much an opportunity to feast (chicken or lamb tagine with prunes and almonds, Berber tagine with vegetables, keftas tagine with eggs...). Same treat on the couscous side, including a Royal lamb, merguez, chicken and beef balls. Homemade salad with tomatoes and roasted peppers as a starter and traditional Moroccan pastries, not to mention mint tea with dessert. Flavours, a change of scenery and delicacies guaranteed from the outset.
