ST. PETER'S CHURCH
The Saint Chamond municipality is known mainly for its church Notre-Dame, which provoked a great deal of debate in 2009, so that the new mayor, Philippe Kizirian, had decided on the future of the town by consulting the inhabitants by referendum. However, we had to make a place in our edition at the charming church Saint-Pierre, other historical curiosity. Its steeple, completed in 1645, covered with copper plates, seduced by its original appearance. The ground of the nave has a pavement tilt which allows remote worshippers to better join the liturgy. A remarkable building to visit if you go through Saint Chamond!
