La Java Bleue welcomes you in a retro 1950s bistro-style setting. A fresco in honor of Charles Trenet and photos of Georges Brassens, Edith Piaf, Luis Mariano... adorn the walls, and you'll be warmly welcomed into the spacious dining room. La Java Bleue's specialty: beef! Entrecôte, rib steak, tartare, beef cheek, brochettes, marrow bones, or even Salers cured ham and beef rillettes. Meat in all its forms! Je suis allée manger un midi. J'ai pris plat du jour (mijoté avec frites et flan de légumes) et dessert (salade de fruits). C'était très bon surtout la viande ça tombe bien c'est leur spécialité.

Après plusieurs passages dans ce restaurant, ou plutôt je devrais dire "bistrot à viande" et bien je suis fan. La déco, le service, la carte tout est super. Mais bien sur le must c'est la viande et les frites maison.

I loved this restaurant. The food is unpretentious but the meat is delicious and the fries are worth dying for not need it. I kiffe the old-fashioned and the music that plunges into the atmosphere immediately upon arrival. A real breath of fresh air.
