Opposite Châteaucreux railway station, la Taverne de Maître Kanter has a large restaurant with a nice terrace to welcome travelers. Nous avons l'habitude d'aller à la Taverne depuis plusieurs années mais aujourd'hui nous avons été très déçus : nous avons commandé un plateau de fruits de mer (assiette de l'écailler), une choucroute du brasseur et une maître Kanter. L'assiette de fruits de mer est venue au bout de 30 minutes, la 1ère choucroute 30 minutes encore après et la choucroute Maître Kanter encore 30 minutes plus tard soit 1h30 après notre arrivée et 1h entre le service de la 1ère et dernière personne, car le maître d'hôtel s'était trompé dans la commande. En lui faisant remarquer le temps passé, il nous a juste dis "bon ben ça va excusez-moi je me suis trompé" sur un air agressif et en fuyant vers ses cuisines. Nous ne l'avons plus revu et il a passé le relais à d'autres serveurs. La qualité n'était vraiment pas au rendez-vous (jarret de port sec, saucisse de Morteau limite en plastique tellement elle était dure, chou aigre : cette brasserie ne nous avait pas habitué à ça). Ensuite pour les glaces il y avait 1 cheveu dans une des coupes glacées... La totale. Au final quand nous avons réglé l'addition (88€ tout de même pour 3 personnes) et que j'ai fait remarquer à la personne qui nous a encaissé que mes fruits de mer baignaient dans l'eau vu que j'avais attendu 1h que tout le monde soit servi, la serveuse m'a répondu "ah mais oui les fruits de mer il faut les manger tout de suite" !!! Aucune remise commerciale pour l'attente, pas d'excuses, et en plus ils nous ont pris pour des guignols ! On n'y retournera plus.

Which is common between the Taverns of Maître Kanter of Vienna and St Etienne?. (knowing that in Vienna, the welcome is very nice)

Hello, This Saturday I went to eat at home and I am strongly disappointed by it. 1- wine jug contained crumbs or other rubbish unidentified. 2- When I asked bread from the waiter, he gave us the basketful of table to side. What is not (in the worst it must have hidden to do it). 3- I ask again him bread, it makes a poor piece by retorting me " We are low in bread! " … But restaurant can be low in bread? 4- This same waiter finally wanted to swell us with increasing the touch of around £ 7… 5- We will return never again at home!!!
