Opposite Châteaucreux railway station, la Taverne de Maître Kanter has a large restaurant with a nice terrace to welcome travelers. In the plate, traditional Alsatian dishes: sauerkraut and flammeküeches to be enjoyed with a good beer of course! You can of course prefer a salad, a mussel casserole or a burger. Dans cet établissement, il n'est pas possible de choisir sa table, si bien que pour 2 personnes, nous avons été placé derrière une tablée de huit personnes particulièrement bruyantes et grossières. Après plusieurs tentatives, nous avons pu changer de place non sans essuyer quelques quolibets.
Au moment du règlement de la note (supérieure à 80 €!!), le maître d'hôtel agressif (parce qu'il connaissait les 8 importuns et très grossiers) auquel nous avons fait part de notre mécontentement, m'a pris la main qui reposait sur une barrière en bois en appuyant fortement : comportement pire qu'odieux et inadmissible vis à vis d'un client.

very good value for money which is open every Sunday evening, which is quite rare. Attend after a football game or a show because you are sure to find place view the size of the hotel
