Good-value restaurant offering refined cuisine and a fine selection of wines near the station.
Just a stone's throw from the Châteaucreux train station, we discover the "little latest" from Axel Liotard, manager of the Cempote ("little barrel" in gaga parlance). It's in a friendly, pleasant atmosphere that we can share a meal concocted by chef Estelle. The cuisine is refined and sophisticated, as is the cream of Jerusalem artichoke, cauliflower and hazelnut, and the pistachio and pear mille-feuille, which we had the pleasure of tasting. For wine lovers, a well-stocked wine list will delight you. The welcome, service and value for money offered by this restaurant are further reasons to come and enjoy a meal here.
