L'Assaut de la Menuiserie is an associative gallery dedicated to contemporary creation since 1995. It is dedicated to the exhibition and the accompaniment of regional, national and international artists in their creations of new projects. Each year, 5 to 6 exhibitions are presented in the premises of an old carpentry in downtown Saint-Etienne, divided into an exhibition space, an interior courtyard and a workshop. Many well-known artists have passed through this gallery such as Guillaume Louot, Aurélie Godard, Pierre Lacroix, Gaël Meissonnier, François Mangeol...
