Founded in 1998 by Damien Deroubaix and Assan Smati, [9] Bis is a contemporary creation space. A place of experimentation and at the same time a workshop, the [9] Bis proposes above all unpublished projects on all possible media. Photo, video, design and installation combine with painting and sculpture. The [9] Bis welcomes world-renowned artists but also makes the beautiful share of Fine Arts students through exhibitions or through the creation of partnerships on specific topics. The site attracts art professionals, artists, writers, critics, curators, collectors, teachers and students as well as the widest audience. So let us welcome the initiative of this place for the vitality of its creation and for giving us a new vision of contemporary art.
