A festival to discover French chanson in all its forms. This year's headliner is M.
Born in 1992 at the Salle Jeanne d'Arc under the patronage of Léo Ferré and the direction of Marc Javelle, the Festival aims to facilitate the discovery of French song, which was then little known and underestimated by the public. For the past 25 years, some sixty volunteers and casual workers have been working alongside the association and its president Richard Verney-Carron. Bringing together all audiences from 7 to 77 years of age, the association, which is now called Saint-Étienne Live, enjoys introducing singers of a wide variety of styles, from pop to hip-hop and variety. Many prominent artists, from Ben Mazué to Dionysos, are expected for the 2021 edition. Don't delay in booking!
