RANDONNÉES PÉDESTRES
Prior to the appearance of the automobile, the sector was already a popular pedestrian promenade by the Stéphanois. Furthermore, you can reach the village through trails in the woods from the Stéphanois area of La Métare. And the surrounding areas are still frequented. Its furnishings in stone of apparent size, its wooded surroundings, the waterfall nearby which dug a large hole bearing the name of the Gulf of hell, plunges you into a strange atmosphere, almost héroïco-fantastic. Even if it is possible to improvise, four round and marked pedestrian circuits are to be reported. The first (green circuit, 4 km, 1 h 15) part of Rochetaillée, goes back to the Hauteurs Cross before returning to the village. A second (purple circuit, 12,5 km, 3 h 30) takes you through Salvaris to the Plateau plateau not far from the Bessat. The other two go through dams: The rose (12,5 km, 4 h) takes you to Planfoy then Fissemagne after being passed through the Gulf of hell. The yellow, at last, the longest (15,5 km, 4 h) passes through the Plateau plateau, the village of Tarentaise and then descends on the dams.
