United-Cité, a major actor of the civic service, celebrates its 20 years! Since 1995, this association has been mobilizing young people, girls and boys from different backgrounds in 25 French cities. No qualification is required, it is just a great motivation. A useful experience that allows you to learn to work for 6 to 9 months as a team of 8 people. The projects carried out are in partnership with structures that have decided to combat exclusion, precariousness, combat all forms of discrimination and on the contrary improve social cohesion and promote sustainable development. Through citizens'days (debates, visits, exchanges) and various intergenerational actions, the knowledge of different audiences is captured. Supported by the State and local authorities, the United-City pays you a small monthly allowance and provides you with individual support to develop a professional project. A real work works full time, a unique experience to live. Getting involved is an opportunity to enrich each other! Helping others is also helping yourself! United-Cité is an association that works rather well because it implante into new cities in France. Don't hesitate to commit yourself!
