The School of Fine Arts now became the École supérieure d'Art et Design Saint-Etienne, and is part of the Cité du Design project. What is more normal than being hosted? Let's remember, incidentally, that the school is the initiator of the now famous biennale of design, recognized worldwide! The training shall include two State diplomas: the National Diploma in Plastic Arts (in 3 years) and the higher national diploma of plastic expression (in 5 years), with 3 possible options: art, design and communication media. The quality of education, the level of recruitment of students and the importance attached to research and experimentation make school a hotbed of talent (artists, designers, creators, authors…). Note: the post-graduate cycle Design and Research (after grade 5) broadens the scope of the designer to the field of industrial creation
