Since its creation in 1982, the school of comedy of Saint-Etienne teaches drama in the very places where it is playing. The school has become one of the most famous theatre formations in Rhône-Alpes, thus forming actor Pio Marmaï, among others. For three years, courses, shows and courses form future actors. They must also work during their apprenticeship to a personal project, with technical and administrative support from the drama centre. Ten students per promotion are selected (five girls, five boys), so say you have to cling to get the precious entry sesame! It is worth it since the school of comedy had the permission in 2008 to issue the superior professional diploma of comedian!
