SCOT
Adopted in 2000, the CCS (Solidarity and Urban Renewal) Act gave rise to the SCOT, the Territorial Coherence Schemes, urban planning documents, which think about the future of a territory. The SCOT is a 10-year planning document. The joint union of the South-Loire SCOT Group consists of two agglomeration communities, two communities of municipalities and one isolated commune. The members of this SCOT work on topics such as the protection of natural, agricultural and forestry spaces and natural resources. Their aim is primarily to control urban development.
