Founded by Abbot Pierre, the community Emmaus is well present in the South Loire, with three settlements in Saint-Etienne, Firminy and Montbrison. Of these three sites, 60 companions and companions are housed, and have a job in the recovery sector. The issue of housing is at the heart of the concerns at Emmaus, very concerned about the plight of the homeless.
