Created in 1984, this body receives and distributes food from the European Community surplus and the products of large areas whose presentation has been altered (not quality!). Its purpose? Avoiding waste while fighting hunger. In the agglomeration, some volunteers collect food in order to make them enjoy multiple associations. The latter are then instructed to distribute them. Eloquent figure: more than 15 000 people benefit from this service. A new "Fresh Space" allows the increase in storage surfaces for food.
