For over 20 years, this center for scientific culture, part of the École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, has been taking you on an adventure with science. On the program: exhibitions and workshops for the general public, debates and conferences. You can ask questions, discover and exchange ideas, all in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere! La Rotonde welcomes you to its two venues: Soucoupe and Explora. The center also works in collaboration with researchers, who visit schools.

The La Rotonde center for scientific, technical and industrial culture welcomes you to the École des Mines de Saint-Étienne. Here, you'll be invited to enjoy an exciting adventure, making new discoveries about science and having fun at the same time. With its interactive workshops, fascinating exhibitions and inspiring lectures, the facility strives to develop everyone's critical thinking and intellectual curiosity. It also boasts a studio, where video artists can benefit from support in their creative video projects. La Rotonde also welcomes you to Explora. The latter is made up of two areas, one of which is an innovative experimental space: Exploralab. You're welcome to test and experiment in a scientific spirit. You can also do science at Exploraparc, located in the Joseph Sanguedolce park. This fun and educational space features a challenge zone, a sound zone, a research garden and a carboniferous garden. La Rotonde also represents a strong commitment to education. By supporting teachers and offering innovative educational resources, it plays a key role in shaping the minds of tomorrow.
