CHÂTEAU DE GRANGENT
Castle dating from the and 16th, with a remarkable tower, fortress and chapel, on an island in Lake Grangent.
Château de Grangent stands on a small island in Lake Grangent, and offers a wonderful, mystical atmosphere, reminiscent of Scottish castles. Built between the 12th and 16thcenturies , the estate features an 18-meter-high tower, a fortress and a chapel. Unfortunately, the castle is privately owned and cannot be visited. But it is possible to contemplate it from different vantage points, including one in Saint-Just-Saint-Rambert. And if you want to get a closer look, the best way is by boat.
