AUBERGE DES TRABUCHES
Inn with terrace offering traditional dishes and excellent local cuisine.
In the Forez plain, with the Forez mountains on your left and the priory of Saint-Romain-le-Puy in front of you, a small road takes you to the Auberge des Trabuches. This old farm, nicely restored with its flowered garden and its Virginia creeper on the facade, welcomes you for a friendly meal served with a smile and good humour. On the terrace in the summer, in the veranda or in the large dining room, you will enjoy an excellent local cuisine. On the menu, traditional dishes that are constantly renewed. As the region is obliged to offer, dishes with Montbrison cheese are a must... just like the frog legs of yesteryear. In short, it's unpretentious, copious and of good quality (the desserts are home-made, the fromage blanc is farmhouse, the ingredients are tasty!) And as you are in an inn you will find a wealth of information on the sights to see in the Forez plain.
