The restaurant Le Cartusien is ideally located near the Chartreuse de Sainte-Croix-en-Jarez, dating back to the xiiith century and becoming a village since the Revolution. In summer, you can enjoy the terrace and admire these ancestral buildings by enjoying a good meal with family or friends with ease. The hotel is the meeting point for the walkers, the groups of coaches, but also many of the guests. The reception is charming and the plates are generous: Copious salads, roasted roast sauce, milanese staircase… Regular events, concerts… are organized in the establishment.

Le restaurateur me demande si je veux une note je dis non ce n'est pas la peine et en réfléchissant quelques secondes il m'annonce 70 € tout rond ! Surpris de ce montant je rétorque immédiatement : Heu...finalement faites-moi une note et là il m'annonce ah bah j'ai dû me tromper ça fait 60,50 € il m'a ensuite demandé si j'étais de passage (donc il m'a pris pour un touriste) et je lui ai répondu que j'habitais comment s'appelle dans une commune environnante. Heureusement que le cadre est superbe parce que je trouve ce comportement honteux.
