The Sapin Géant reaches a height of 43.40 m and has a circumference of over 4.32 m in Tarentaise.
Le Sapin Géant is a beautiful walk in the woods and on the heights, as this hike climbs to an altitude of just over 1,000 metres. Heading from the Tarentaise towards Saint-Genest-Malifaux, you'll come across the Pont Sauvignet at the far end of the Furan valley. In addition to the trailheads, this is where the Sapin Géant is signposted. Born in the 17th century under Louis XV, it reaches a height of 43.40 meters and a circumference of over 4.32 meters. Discover it in the middle of the forest.
