THE PERTUISET BRIDGE

This spectacular book began in 1987 and stands 48 m above the Loire. A suspended bridge 132 m long, it turns out to be majestic with multiple cables and cable service. The overthrown tower of Y stands as a huge door to cross, inviting us to cross the river and to exchanges between the left bank bordered by the village of Saint-Paul-en-Cornillon and the right bank of the Loire which leads to the villages of Chambles, Caloire and Saint-Maurice-en-Gourgois. The ligériens like to call it "bridge du Pertuiset", referring to the place where it is located, but its true name remains: " the Bicentennial of the Revolution ".
