CHÂTEAU GRILLET
Château Grillet, a mythical terroir for all wine lovers. An appellation unto itself for this 3.5-hectare estate in the communes of Vérin and Saint-Michel-sur-Rhône. Situated on a steep terrace, this south-facing vineyard has existed since Roman times. The wine is made exclusively from Viognier grapes. This rich, peachy, apricot-scented wine can be aged for several years. Blaise Pascal and Thomas Jefferson already consumed this nectar, which is worth between €200 and €450 a bottle, depending on the year - if you can find it!
