MATAGRIN TOWER
A tower with steep stairs and an anachronistic water heater with a Napoleonic milestone fixed by Mr. Matagrin on the outside.
A Napoleonic milestone bearing the inscription "Point Trig 0 - Napoleon Emperor - Nov. 1812" had been embedded in the foundations of an old hermitage and subsequently removed by a local. Mr. Matagrin retrieved it when building the tower and fixed it in the outer wall near the door. Beware, the stairs are steep, and on the way up you'll see an anachronistic water heater. 360-degree orientation balcony, view of fourteen departments on a clear day and picnic area in the forest.
