Restaurant in the heart of a quiet and restful place in Joux.
A native of Tarare and a pupil of Bocuse, André Chouvin traveled extensively before returning to his native Beaujolais to share with us, in a soothing setting, a gastronomic cuisine patiently matured and thought through. On the aptly-named Place du Plaisir, in the shade of the linden tree that gives the house its name, the chef happily blends the tradition of great French cuisine, respect for good local produce and his personal touch of creativity. A great success. A wine list that gives pride of place to local wines. Rooms to prolong the pleasure.
