Museum with agricultural machinery, testifying to the mechanization of agriculture, with access for people with reduced mobility.

The Veinazès museum is a living museum dedicated to the life of this corner of the Cantal which is the Veinazès. It owes its origin to the Coste family, a family of collectors of agricultural machinery. Tools, tractors, threshing machines, locomobiles, some of which are still in working order, are presented on more than 600m2. A part of the museum is dedicated to craftsmanship with reconstitutions of the old workshops of the carpenter, the blacksmith or the clog maker. Also to be discovered, a beautiful collection of folk art objects and temporary exhibitions.

Agréable musée relatant les vieux métiers du Cantal. Fonds riche des dons des particuliers alentours. Les explications transmises par les gérants du musée sont très denses et intéressantes. La dernière salle d'exposition temporaire est agréable et sera l'occasion de découvrir de magnifiques maquettes.
