On the long avenue of General de Gaulle, at the height of the road of Saint-Didier-au-Mont-d'Or (a car park is at the beginning of this road), Limonest looks like a village, with the church square and, next to the Butcher's Room. Held by Josiane, always there to delight his customers, and Georges Bush, once butcher and then restaurateurs at Plane in Champagne for 13 years, the Butcher's Exhibit is the meat specialist. Friendly and shaded terrace protected from traffic, two cosy rooms to settle comfortably. On the map, the specialities are called rib or tender rib from the Bistrot (on-site), served with a succulent pick potato to the ceps. Don't miss the homemade burger in the Saint-marcellin. Pleasant wine list.

Mon restaurant préféré, point final. Ambiance de village, parfois de groupes de pro, mais trèsfamilial et/ou entre amis. Côté bar / côté restau / côté terrasse : les trois sont sympas.
Un ancien boucher en patron, un service adorable et chaleureux, une cuisine excellente, variée, fraiche... Fraîche ! Rien que pour ça, la Pièce vaut le détour. Viande délicieuse, accompagnement généreux et/ou gourmands (sauf les frites, bof...).
Dessert : la verrine tarte citron meringue est un délice (sucrée OK, manquant un tout petit poil d'acidité pour moi).
Ce travail en famille est une réussite, je suis un afficionado et y vais régulièrement boire un café ou manger. Tout simplement parfait selon moi.
