With its terrace, Chez Way offers a lovely welcome with vegetarian cuisine at a good value.
Lyon is a city of counters. So, when an Asian counter opens up on this refurbished passageway between Saint-Nizier and the Saône, there's no hesitation in jumping in with gusto. There's a small terrace where you can enjoy the view towards Fourvière, and a very small room where you can relax if you don't want to take away. At the counter, you'll receive a warm welcome from the ladies who present you with the famous banh mi, a sandwich made with a special bread - a baguette inherited from colonial times - and ingredients from the dozen or so in-house recipes: marinated chicken, lacquered pork, lemongrass beef, "house special" or vegetarian versions... Excellent value for money, so you can eat well without breaking the bank.
