At the sign of this restaurant in the narrow Rue Lanterne, we would expect that one does not come here to eat a large vegetarian salad… Behind these beautiful stone walls, Futé found one of the best meat restaurants in the city. It is highly advisable to book, because the address - open for 5 years - attracts a beautiful clientele, rather "night" one (another Butcher and adjoining address is open at lunchtime), which comes to enjoy famous cocktails - the boss of the place is a specialist in the field - while listening to good sound. In a slightly brief decor, but at the end very convivial, meat lovers sit to discover dishes focused on… meat. And we must admit that it is particularly good, with pieces that are not often found in traditional restaurants. Menu reduced to a dozen dishes, with the unmissable homemade burger and its potatoes, while you are more gladly advised to enjoy matured meat, such as a beautiful beef rib or exceptional meast, at affordable prices, with Angus beef, the Wagyu (famous Japanese beef with parsley) or beautiful Galician beef ribs of 40 days maturation… Other specialty of the place: whisky, in which meat enjoys being marinated. In short, a carnivorous address in the heart of the city is not to displease Futé which recommends.
