With its focus on healthy and veggie products, Diploid attracts a young clientele looking for some respite from the hectic urban jungle. Tasty breakfast with long hours, good specialty coffees, gourmet lunch based on fresh produce and pastries, some vegan or gluten-free. Rarely seen à la carte brunch on weekends. A roaring Diploid.

Went to Diploid for a breakfast, we were seated promptly, with our table positioned near the busy kitchen. Surprisingly, none of the kitchen staff wore hairnets or caps. The food was delicious, but the hot chocolate was lukewarm. After requesting it to be reheated, they replaced it with a new one. Overall it was a good experience.
