This is a restaurant that doesn't take for what it's not. Not really, a trendy address or for gourmet purposes, but it knows by its atmosphere a little prolo and a villain attracting many clients who do not like the room atmosphere that reigns in many establishments. The leather jackets of the regulars who are accoudés at the counter are attached to the portemanteau. Between the dish of the day, a duck of duck, a few dishes or salads, the choice is not very large but quite sufficient. The discussions are lively, provocative. Laughter and jokes abound. The South Counter is also a lair where one listens to the show "There if I am" the committed radio show of Daniel Mermet on France Inter. This corresponds to the spirit of this simple and interesting establishment.

All the dishes were great, but a special mention to the Pigeon and the île flottante (fantastic creme anglais)
The owner was also very friendly
As for the waitress, she was exceptional, she took the time to explain the menu to us in detail, as our french is rusty at best, paired the perfect wines with our chosen dishes, and really made us feel invited and welcome. It made the night!
We will definitely return.
