Restaurant in an exceptional location to enjoy a cuisine inspired by the seasons and travel.

Futé was eagerly awaiting the "rise" of the Floor. It must be said that Jérôme Soonberg's former restaurant enjoys an exceptional location. The air-conditioned room, all in length and woodwork on the first floor, opens with two bay windows overlooking the magnificent Place des Terreaux. At our feet, the Bartholdi fountain and in the background, the Saint-Pierre palace and the town hall. Splendid, especially at nightfall. But ecstasy doesn't just come from the scenery. In the kitchen, the young (29 years old) and talented Guillaume Mallet. Born in Plymouth, immersed in the profession since his early childhood with his father, the chef studied in London, then in Paris at Lenôtre, Le Renouveau in Saint-Etienne and extras at Bocuse, Orsi or Villa Florentine. In a refined atmosphere, yet with a beautiful simplicity in the welcome and service, we enjoy a cuisine inspired by the seasons and travels, the respect of the products and the modernity of the flavours. On this summer's tasting menu, the menu changes every week: duet of foie gras from the Landes and its dried fruit chutney, a risotto acquarello al dente with chipirons or organic Mozambique prawns topped with pimantos del piquillos. To follow, a sweetbread of veal meal with sweet garlic cream or a turbo fillet roasted and flavoured with chorizo. Superb menu declined around lobster, where all parts of the shellfish are used with delicacy. Short but well selected wine list. Without a doubt, one of the most beautiful discoveries of the year.

UN SANS FAUTE. Vraiment remarquable et inoubliable. Un déjeuner en famille un samedi midi dans un cadre sobre et raffiné. Quel choix judicieux de la part du chef de miser sur la qualité de ce qu’il propose à ces convives. Tout d’abord un service ultra chaleureux et convivial, grâce au peu de tables ; mais aussi la cuisine. Et là BRAVO. Le goût du détail, des saveurs franches. Le menu deux plats et deux desserts et parfaitement équilibré. Nous sommes redescendu de notre petit nuage à l’étage en se promettant d’y revenir bien vite. Vous l’avez compris… nous avons adoré. Merci et bravo au chef.

Un cadre intimiste ( 20 places max), un des derniers restaurants sans façade au RDC . Un menu simplifié qui permet d être assuré de la fraîcheur de tous les produits. Et quel voyage sur tous les continents pour découvrir des saveurs d Iran, du Vietnam dans des recettes creees de toutes pièces à la fois originales et qui plairont à tous . C est vraiment une expérience unique.

Nous sommes venus pour le dîner du nouvel an en couple, le repas était parfait, les produits de qualités et les compétences en cuisine ont fait de notre réveillon un merveilleux moment ainsi que le service et la gentillesse du patron qui est une personne passionnée.
Et que dire de cette ambiance unique et chaleureuse.
Nous reviendrons quand nous serons sur Lyon c'est certain.

Nous aurions été ravi de pouvoir essayer la nourriture mais notre réservation faite plusieurs semaines en avance à été annulée sans autre forme de procès. Pas d'appel ni rien, juste un courriel automatique. Détestable. Soyez prévenus.

We would have loved to taste the food but our booking made weeks in advance was cancelled with no reason given. No phone call, no nothing, just an automated email. Despicable. Be warned.
