Restaurant located in a discreet street in the heart of Lyon offering the best products of the region.

Created 10 years ago, the Atelier des Augustins has given itself - and us - a great gift by expanding its walls and winning 1 Michelin star in this popular area of the Presqu'île. Retaining traces and stones of the past, but moving towards a contemporary design, the restaurant offers a new setting for the cuisine of chef Nicolas Guilloton. A chef who gives pride of place to the finest regional produce, no more than 200 km from Lyon. Short circuits, with a garden of aromatic plants in Sainte-Irénée (Lyon 5), for a lively cuisine of surprising associations and beautiful discoveries. A workshop open to another dimension.

Surprise menu for a very balanced palette. Everything was so delicious. The staff was very friendly and welcoming as well. The chef was very creative with the carrot dessert. Didn't think it could be that yummy. Even though it says 6 dishes but we left feeling very full and satisfied.

Merveilleux, rien à redire, que ce soit au niveau du service, du décor ou bien évidemment dans l'assiette. Tout ce qui nous a été proposé etait délicieux et origina, en accord avec nos gouts. Tres bon choix de vin au verre aussi. Cétait un super moment, nous reviendrons.

Très bon restaurant Le cadre est très agréable et la déco très sympa. Le service à table est très attentionné. Nous avons eu le menu unique Surprise en 6 plats. Mention spéciale à la tourte de truite dont la cuisson était parfaite et le feuilleté très bien exécuté. Le premier dessert à base de carotte était aussi très original et très frais. La cuisine est très raffinée. Seul bémol le deuxième dessert un peu écœurant tout à base de pain. Très belle carte de vin et notre choix était parfait. Le budget est néanmoins très conséquent 82€ hors fromages en sus.
