Restaurant with a small summer terrace in Lyon.
In the collection of restaurants of a Rue Laurencin "monopolised" by one of the most discreet and most talented chefs in Lyon, here is the latest address: Bouchon Thomas. Thomas Ponson took up the challenge of going back to the origins of what made the Lyon cuisine successful, the bouchons. A nice small summer terrace as an extension of the other terraces signed by Thomas and the dining room updating a bit the classic codes of the bouchon while keeping the table paths with the red and white tiles. Beautiful atmosphere in this place that does not claim to be a true Lyon bouchon yet, but which does much better than some "stamped" by offering a traditional cuisine revisited by Thomas Ponson in person: homemade country terrine, Lyon salad, chicken-liver cake, homemade abomasum with herbs to get started. Coming up next, a delicious andouillette with calf's ruffle, grilled with mustard sauce, a hot sausage with pistachio, cervelle de canut or fish of the day. Pie with praline of Saint-Genix to finish. All accompanied by a beautiful wine list, including a Fleurie from Dutraive's. An address that pleasantly completes the Thomas collection.
