Bistro offering authenticity, conviviality, generosity and enthusiasm in Lyon.
At a time when the cobblestones of rue Mercière were not yet frequented by tourists in search of a restaurant, Jean-Paul Lacombe opened a bistrot de copains just 50 years ago (happy anniversary!) - not far from the Léon de Lyon he managed. The Bistrot de Lyon was born. Over the years, the Bistrot has affirmed the values of the famous "Bistrots de cuisiniers": authenticity, conviviality, generosity and enthusiasm. Magnificent Belle Époque room, lively terrace, adorable service and a cuisine that honors the classics of Lyonnais cuisine, sometimes revisited just right, from poultry liver cake to the Bistrot's Saint-Cochon. Emblematic.
