Restaurant with a lovely welcome and a warm atmosphere and decor in Lyon.

On Rue Mercière, Mulli takes us to an unusual destination in the neighborhood: Mexico. Chef Mauricio Hernandez invites us into his casa, a Mexican house, to discover a traditional cuisine far more subtle and nuanced than you might imagine. A warm welcome, a welcoming atmosphere and a homey decor, where you can savour a home-cooked meal full of flavours: the must-try guacamole, Aztec soup, ceviche tostada, a choice of tacos - to be eaten with your fingers - tortas, flautas, enchiladas... and home-made desserts on the slate. Mexican beers to accompany it all. Ideal for celebrating Dia de Muertos. Authentic Mexico and good value on the street.

This is a small restaurant but they really pack a punch! The service is warm and inviting, the food is outstanding, and the atmosphere is lively. They change their menu often and all the offerings are based on what's available each season. There are 2 for 1 margaritas on Wednesdays! The food was very authentically Mexican, which is a great find here in Lyon. Highly recommended!
