The institution of Lyon specialities and brasserie dishes in Lyon.

In Lyon for 188 years, the brasserie is called Georges. It was there long before the dreadful Perrache station and will be there long after its renovation. In the indestructible genre, with its incredible decor, 700m2 ceiling, imposing chandeliers that we hope are well hung and its eternal limonaire to play "happy birthday" with the lights off and the room at full blast. The ballet of 25 waiters who manage over 450 covers simultaneously - a noisy, lively atmosphere -, waltzing between the tables the emblematic dishes of the house: sauerkraut, tartar prepared according to the rules of the art before your very eyes, Lyonnais specialties and a Norwegian omelette. Très bonnes choucroutes
Nous y sommes retournés en Janvier 2020 et les choucroutes sont toujours aussi bonnes et personnel tres disponibles malgré la foule ,

La brasserie fait partie des institutions lyonnaises, le cadre est hors normes par sa taille ancienne gare je crois
Beaux décors, les choucroutes sont excellentes .
Un peu bruyant mais celà est dû à la salle immense.

Une valeur sûre pour tout amateur de plats typiques et copieux de la région, dans un cadre impressionnant. La salle est en effet immense et le service rapide comme l'éclair ! Un peu cher toutefois pour les plats servis.
