District with a superb 12th century basilica, on a former monastery, a remarkable commercial artery and a museum in Lyon.

It's not the neighborhood we visit first. Between Perrache on one side and Bellecour on the other, the district of Ainay watches over the Presqu'île around the superb Saint-Martin basilica built in the 12th century. It is absolutely necessary to visit this church founded on a former monastery and to taste the happiness of these small paved streets crossed by the immense pedestrian and commercial artery Victor Hugo. Another pleasure of the district, the Museum of Fabrics and Decorative Arts. Under the vault of Ainay, former door of the Abbey, a gourmet break at the Café Comptoir Abel.
