Sobriety, elegance, this Garage seems to have been opened at the beginning of the 21st century. But this magnificent building is the witness of the Lyon automobile adventure at the beginning of the previous century. Built in 1932, the Bollache Laroque garage was the most modern in Europe. It even housed tennis courts and a tea room. In this fully redesigned and incredible space, you settle in a delightful decoration, reminiscent of the origin of the places. With friends around a beautiful round table or in more intimate as a couple, the pleasure of being at Garage remains the same. Warm welcome, friendly service to present us a cuisine prepared from fresh products by chef Olivier Sébastien. More than the road, we take the plane to discover the flavors from here and elsewhere in a harmonious whole: mackerel rillettes with spicy marinade and cake with summer vegetables, tempura of prawns Andalusian sauce or a quinoa tabbouleh and smoked duck breast. Tajine of market fish and sweet spices, red mullet burger on its bed of marinated vegetables, excellent charolais beef tartare or a duck breast roasted with honey, artichoke barigoule. Before finishing on a destructured Black Forest cake. Fine wine list. Savory moments, preceded or extended to the bar space Le Saxe. An address adjoining the Mercure Saxe Lafayette hotel, among the most beautiful discoveries to be made between Rhône and Part-Dieu.

Cumulé à l'attente, la note devient trop salé
Des tables arrivées après nous sont servies et nous sommes tjrs dans l'attente de nos plats.....
Nous rappelons le serveur encore une fois pour être enfin servis et il nous propose un délai de 5 mn.....mais en vain.....
19H45 ..las d'attendre nos plats nous notifions une nouvelle fois au serveur que nous n'étions toujours pas servis!!!. et il nous annonce encore un délai d'attente de 5 mn...!!!!..(ou plus ?????)
Nous avons donc décidé de partir et le verre d'apéritif servi ( non bu entièrement) nous a été offert accompagné d'excuses..

Agréablement surpris de voir plusieurs choix sans gluten
Petit + en suggestion au chef : Proposer des plats salés veggie (ex avocado toast) pour que l'expérience gustative soit un grand succès pour tout le monde !
