I went recently in this Chef and I was particularly disappointed service for a very high price it must be said in passing. To tour halles is very pleasant but in terms of cooking, even for in the halles in a very small open space where unfortunately we are approximately 10 guests. food noble products (very nice) but no place to cook, so prepares meal for everyone I did not make the recipe by me but I cut vegetables (it is nice, but it is not until I waited) and the part is more than minimalist (I had bought an extra portion what made me classes at €100!). It had been said me that I can enjoy my recipe on site; everything is done so it is not the case. The followed guest is null: I received the recipes written by e-mail only later following a reminder of my share and I never received other recipes as promise.
In short, the Chef only business. Moreover, I have a buddy who made the same disappointing Lepic experience.

I followed the " cours" (if you can call that like), section, ironically, " It is Le Chef moi". It is a course of 2:00 during which you are expected " take a gourmet meal and gourmet. Creative recipes to make meals without constraints. On the programme, design and cooking of a starter, a main course and a dessert." 68€ classes 2:00
What perform as follows:
During the first half - hour: each in turn passes to the cash desk to give its Bon Cadeau or his Good fee, to provide the information to receive the recipes and possibly to pay extra take-away part (€19/part).

Then, you sit in front of a station and you expect.
We were a dozen participants, which is much too seen the lack of space.
All the ingredients are prepared and weighed in advance, some combinations are already even loans.
If you are able to belong to the favourites, you can attend a bit. But do not expect so cooking or learning wanting. At best, you can peel and cut vegetables, even to stir up the dish on the stove. If you go part of those whose head is not please the Chef, on the one hand will take the full mouth of you during the " cours" and at best you will have the privilege to leave their fruits tray colocarlas on a plate, to put the plateau in the fridge, and if you express your distress, then you will have the privilege huge admits that the difficult task to separate from the white and egg yolks.
At the end of 2:00 (1H30 except for first half-hour), it is finished. You will leave 1 then 1 starter, main course and dessert 1 wrapped in the tray figure and the aluminium flashy.
To know: although upon departure, the Chef check the number of participants and the number of extra portions, quantity level, there is no enough (some biscuits of dessert had to be divided into 2 for the mind and in spite of this, it shacked with 1 more share change). Note also that the portions that you will be are tiny: in terms of course, that represents about 1 dish to be divided to 2 (if you pay extra at €19 obviously!)
And for those who hope to enjoy a meal at the restaurant house, it is disastrous: once heated, which was to be crunchy is not more, once transported, chantilly of dessert subsided,...
The toll for me: €87 lost (68€ of lessons + €19 additional section), I did not know anything, I did not cooking and the meal, in addition to being in insufficient amount was more than average in quality.
With the workshops Philippe Lechat, welcome to the very trendy universe of the benefit at all costs, the most sidelines at the expense of quality and customer service!
Here are some ideas for this budget more appropriately according to than you would expect to find in these courses:
- Guests receive friends with dining and want to impress them: order a meal in a caterer, that will be less expensive and will certainly be better;
- You want a good meal: simply go to the restaurant, with a budget from €87 to 2, there is really average to really happy. And moreover, if the restaurant is nice, you can even leave with some advice and tricks cuisine (it is sometimes simply just ask)
- You want to learn from new recipes: buy a good cookbook or looking on the web,
- You want to learn from the techniques of cuisine: there, I do not know. I know that this pseudonym classes must not be chosen. Moreover, if someone knows a true and good cooking classes, I taking.
